The FSU Skim Club was officially established in October of 2007 by the eager efforts of Carrie Anadiotis with help from Josh Lentsch. The Club is the second, ever, registered skim-related student organization at a university and the first skim club to be recognized by the Sport Club Council as a college sports club. The FSU Skim Club attends several skimboarding competitions each year and plans many “practice session” skim trips for the beach-deprived students in Tallahassee. The Club also participates in fundraisers, community service, and hosts club socials each semester.
