The Spring 2010 semester is finally coming to an end. Thanks to everyone who came to the Pizza Party final meeting of the semester last Thursday. It was great to see everyone one last time before Summer Break. It has been a great 3 years being your club president. I’m extremely happy that Josh Lentsch and I started the club 3 years ago and am proud of its growth over that time. I have a lot of confidence in next year’s officers and hope the club continues to grow in it’s future years. To my fellow graduates this semester, congratulations! Best of luck to the new officers: Megan Jayne (Pres), Matt Smith (VP), Alexis Simoneau (Sec), Christian Meewes (Treas), Austen Vanderbleek (PR Chair), and Josh Carroll (Skim Trip Director).

Good luck on exams and have a great summer! It’s been real.

Garnet & Gold Pin-Wheel Tailgate Tent

Our club now owns this garnet and gold tailgate tent to take out to the beach and better represent our club! We don’t have chairs yet though, so be sure to bring your’s if you’d like a comfy seat.

NEW BATCH OF DECALS ARE IN!

A new batch of our club decals just came in. They’re the same vinyl decals we ordered last year in black or white. If you’ve paid club membership dues, you’ll be receiving 4 free decals (2 black & 2 white). If you didn’t pay dues, or are a non-club member, decals will be sold for $0.75 each (or 2 for $1).

FOR CLUB MEMBERS: We probably won’t be having another club meeting this month since our next bi-meeting would be schedule on Thanksgiving. We’ll probably be having our last meeting for the semester during the last week of classes (before finals). If you’d like to get your decals before then, please comment on this post and let us know.

FOR NON-CLUB MEMBERS: If you can’t make it to our next club meeting in December, you may order decals through PayPal for $0.75 each (or 2 for $1). Please transfer money to fsuskim@gmail.com and add $0.44 for shipping.

Club T-Shirt PRE-ORDER

We’ve finally raised enough money to go ahead and order our club T-shirts.

All members that have paid their membership dues will be receiving 1 free t-shirt. Members that have paid dues may purchase additional shirts for $10 each.

Members that have not paid their dues and non-members may purchase t-shirts for $15 each, or 2 shirts for $20.

If you wish to PRE-ORDER a club t-shirt, you may do so until Nov. 4th. After Nov. 4th, you will only be able to buy a t-shirt from whatever we have left over (limited sizes & colors). We encourage everyone to PRE-ORDER a t-shirt so that you will get the exact size & color you wish to have.

We are accepting cash, check, or PayPal payments.

New Equipment !

Our new order was just received from EOS for a brand new Zap Pro medium skimboard, complete with AstroDeck tailpad and archbar, for our club to own. We now have an extra board for new members to ride and be taught on!

Thanks to Paul from EOS for hooking us up with a nice discount.

An “equipment” order was placed this summer for us by the Sport Club Council at FSU for a brand new Banshee Bungee – Outlaw Slinger package from EOS, so everyone will get to try it out this Fall semester!

Official Skim Club coozies are still for sale!
The $3 is exactly how much it costs to make each one (including print fees & taxes), so our club isn’t profiting from selling these. If you’d like to donate additional money to our club we’d really appreciate it.

Only a few are left, so be sure to get one before they run out!
